New: Until the new harvest arrives in April, we use green coffee from the neighbouring cooperative “Watadara” for the Fire Finch. Unfortunately, our usual lot was roasted away too early due to the high demand, so we imported another container from Ethiopia. Since there was no more green coffee at Taramesa, we bought coffee from the neighbouring cooperatives.
This is a light roasted omniroast: as a filter coffee it is balanced, round and fruity and as an espresso it is a light roast in which the acidity and the variety of aromas are underlined.
100 % Ethiopia, Watadara cooperative, natural arabica
Medium acidity, tropical fruits with notes of black tea. Somewhat more floral and elegant than the usual Fire Finch.
We sell our coffee unground as beans so that you can prepare the coffee as freshly as possible. By grinding yourself, you make sure that all the aromas end up in your cup. After just 30 minutes of exposure to air, ground coffee loses a large part of its aroma. More information is in our FAQ.
